Night Within a Day

This is my graduation film, shot in the summer of 1994.

The film’s career started at the Dakino International Film Festival in 1995, where it received the Grand Prize, shortly followed by FIPA D’Or  for the best short film at FIPA Biarritz, France.

Other important film festivals followed: Clermond-Ferrand, Montpellier, St. Petersburg, St Denis, Montecatini, and Paris.

In 1998, the film was purchased and aired by ARTE TV.

At the anniversary edition Dakino 20, the public voted the film as the best out of all the winners of the Grand Prize in the previous 20 years.

It was a good start.
