Premiere with “Nina” by Matei Vișniec
The most recent play I have directed at Teatrul de Comedie in Bucharest is a continuation of the well-known play by A.P Chekhov, "The Seagull".
The premiere was in the presence of the author who came from France especially for the event. He confessed after the show that Romanian actors are able to reveal Chekhov’s spirit more credibly than Western actors. The cast includes Lucian Pavel, Mihaela Teleoacă and Gheorghe Visu.
